Performs all responsibilities and duties mandated by the unit, including patient assessment upon admission, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, maintaining accurate documentation, and adapting care plans based on ongoing evaluation. Ensures safety by identifying hazards, reporting incidents, and applying safety protocols. Communicates efficiently within the healthcare team, offers constructive feedback to peers, and takes initiative to identify and pursue learning opportunities. Delegates patient care tasks to HCTrs, validates completion, and provides patient education. Follows Carle Med/Surg RN documentation standards, administers medications following the 5 Rights, and upholds safety measures such as fall precautions, pressure ulcer prevention, isolation precautions, and ambulation safety. Maintains a positive, patient‑centered environment, responds promptly to call lights, and uses critical thinking to identify changes in patient status.

The compensation range for this position is $35.22 per hour – $60.58 per hour. This represents a good‑faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting.
