Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Casper, Wyoming. The nurse will provide comprehensive care on a 36-hour weekly schedule, including 12-hour nights, and collaborate with the care team.

The role requires BLS and ACLS, active RN license, and ability to manage multiple patients. Wyoming DFS clearance and EKG exam are required. Travel experience is preferred and commitment to the full contract period is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med Surg patients in an acute-care hospital setting.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, laboratory results, and other relevant clinical indicators.
• Recognize and promptly elevate changes in patient condition.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions within scope of practice.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, ancillary departments, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, disease management, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
• Prioritize care effectively in a fast‑paced Med Surg environment.
