Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Westminster, CO to facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

You will promote patient health and safety through the nursing process, adhering to standards and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate accountability for relationship-based care in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Basic Life Support American Heart Association.
• NIHSS American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or internal transfer.
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IV's, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.
• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner.

We are offering $20,000 sign on bonus in addition up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the elgibility

Where You'll Work

The 4 South Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony North Hospital, an achieved Magnet® Hospital, is a 30-bed unit which treats cardiac, neuro and med-surg patients. This includes a variety of diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, Chest Pain, MI, GI bleeds, post-catheterization, TIA, TR bands, and stroke. We receive overflow from anywhere in the hospital if they have a cardiac or neuro issue, provided they meet unit criteria. Our mission is to provide excellent patient-centered care with teamwork and compassion. Pay Range

$36.51 - $59.00 /hour
