Job summary

Integrated Resources, Inc (IRI) seeks a qualified nurse for a 13-week contract across Saint Joseph, Niles and Grand Rapids, Michigan. The position involves 3x12 hour shifts, days and nights, with every other weekend and holiday on rotation.

Non-taxable per diem is provided for candidates living over 50 miles from the facility. Essential duties include nursing process-based care, medication administration, wound care, IV starts, dressings, and monitoring patients with prompt reporting of adverse

Qualifications

• Nursing-related competencies implied by duties.
• Experience with nursing process is assumed from listed duties.
• BSN or higher not stated; ASRN required as per Education section.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to guide care.
• Involves assessment, diagnoses, planning and evaluation.
• Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed meds.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting medical equipment and recording measurements.
• Monitors vitals and reports adverse medication reactions promptly.

Location: Saint Joseph/Niles/Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule Notes: Days & Nights (3*12) hours shift (Every Other Weekend)

Weekends and holidays as needed. Float as needed.

Duties:

• Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
• This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
