Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the birth through lifecycle spectrum. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within hospital policies, maintaining standards of practice and accountability.

Requires Georgia RN licensure and BCLS; new graduates are eligible; hospital experience preferred for some roles, with potential PRN opportunities. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible (Required).
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Advanced certification in specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
