Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a RN MDS Coordinator to ensure accurate MDS assessments and regulatory compliance for residents in a 120-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility. The role requires current NJ RN licensure and prior MDS/RAI experience.

Qualifications

• Must have current, active RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting.
• Prior MDS/RAI experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and reimbursement systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all MDS assessments per regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Verify compliance with federal and state MDS regulations.
• Supervise MDS data entry, validation, and transmission for accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and validation issues.
• Prepare and present MDS-related reports to the Director of Nursing and leadership.
