Job summary

The Valley Health System's Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role emphasizes leadership and collaboration with the healthcare team to maintain high standards of service and patient outcomes.

Minimum requirements include a Nevada RN license, current BLS, and department-specific certifications (PALS or NRP as required).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
