Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is hiring an RN Manager Pediatrics to oversee planning, organizing, staffing and directing the pediatric unit. The role emphasizes collaboration with the leadership team to develop policies ensuring high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a RN license (state or compact), a BSN, and BLS/ACLS with PALS preferred, plus 3+ years in acute care and at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state you practice or hold a Compact/Multi-State RN License.
• BLS and ACLS required; Pediatrics Advanced Life Support preferred
• 3+ years of nursing in an acute care setting; 1+ years of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff and direct unit operations to ensure efficient patient care.
• Lead with the leadership team to develop plans, policies, and procedures for quality care.
• Foster teamwork and support a patient‑centered culture while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The RN Manager Pediatrics is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. In cooperation with the leadership team, the Manager will be instrumental in developing plans, policies and procedures to efficiently provide quality care. What qualifications you will need:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State which you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
• A current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross), Pediatrics Advanced Life Support are required
• 3+ years of nursing in acute care setting required; 1+ years of leadership experience
