Job summary

Beacon Hill in Denison, TX is seeking an RN/LVN/LPN Charge Nurse to join our Skilled Nursing team. The ideal candidate will oversee patient care within the LVN/LPN scope, observe and report changes, document in the EMR, and administer medications per physician orders.

You will supervise CNAs to ensure the highest level of patient wellbeing and safety. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN/LVN/LPN license.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
• Valid RN/LVN/LPN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure and nursing practice.
• Observe, assess and report patient conditions and changes; document per policies and regulations.
• Perform EMR documentation related to patient assessment and changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure care plans are followed.
• Supervise CNA staff to ensure high-quality clinical care and safe patient wellbeing.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• As an RN/LVN/LPN - Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex's Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.
