Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital's Ellison 12 unit is a 36-bed HVI unit (lung and advanced cardiac failure) seeking a full-time RN. The position offers 3x12-hour day/night rotations including weekends and holidays, with an ideal candidate having 2 years of RN experience.

As an RN, you will interpret the care plan, assess nursing decisions, and ensure safe, competent, individualized patient care while evaluating outcomes for groups of patients. Onsite at 267 Charles Street, Boston.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 3x12s day/night rotating including weekends and holidays.
• Ideal candidate has 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
