RN preferred, but LPN will be acceptable. The supervisor maintains nursing unit goals and objectives and is responsible for overseeing nursing unit(s). The House Supervisor ensures compliance with nursing practices, procedures, systems, and processes according to company policy and federal, state, and local regulations. They coordinate programs and services under the direction and in consultation with the Director of Nursing (DON) and provide guidance, supervision, and management oversight to all nursing staff on all shifts.
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, supervising nursing staff in the absence of the DON/ADON, monitoring staff compliance with break times and patient care assignments, collaborating with medical staff and other departments, coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers, conducting patient rounds, initiating coaching or corrective actions, reviewing and investigating concerns, participating in staff recruitment and onboarding, managing staffing and budgets, and performing other duties necessary for the operation of the healthcare center.
Required: Experience in nursing supervision, knowledge of regulatory requirements, leadership skills, and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred: Relevant certifications and experience in a similar healthcare setting.
