Care Finders, Inc. is seeking a 1:1 Pediatric School Nurse (LPN/RN) to accompany a student with a tracheostomy in Pompton Lakes, Monday–Friday, days only.

Responsibilities include providing dedicated nursing care during the school day, monitoring health, administering medications, and ensuring safety. CPR/BLS certification is required (or willingness to obtain) with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered support.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (state-specific).
• Pediatric experience preferred, not required.
• New graduates welcome.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Comfortable caring for children with developmental and complex medical needs.
• Dependable, patient, and attentive bedside manner.

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in a home setting.
• Monitor the child’s health, safety, and overall condition.
• Administer medications and perform routine treatments.
• Provide seizure awareness and response (training available if needed).
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and daily care needs.
• Complete clinical documentation and progress notes.
• Communicate changes with parents and care team.
• Support individualized care planning in home care model.

1:1 Pediatric School Nurse (LPN/RN) – Monday–Friday Days

School Hours - No Nights - No Weekends - One Child - Consistent Schedule

We're looking for an LPN or RN to accompany a child with a tracheostomy to school in the Pompton Lakes area. You'll provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support throughout the school day, Monday through Friday.

Job Requirements:

• Active RN or LPN license (state-specific)
• Pediatric experience preferred, not required

• Comfortable providing care for children with developmental and complex medical needs

• Frequent standing and walking; assisting patients; operating medical equipment; bending, reaching, positioning; occasional patient transfers or lifting; exposure to healthcare environments.

What You’ll Do:
