Job summary

Allure of Lake Storey in Galesburg, IL is seeking compassionate RNs and LPNs to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, administer medications, and maintain accurate documentation on each resident’s plan of care.

Candidates must hold an Illinois RN or LPN license with CPR certification and strong communication skills. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required; many shifts offer competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Illinois RN or LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to physician orders and care plans.
• Supervise and support CNAs during assigned shifts.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly.
• Complete and maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Ensure resident privacy, dignity and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound and IV care as needed.
• Promote a calm, respectful, and safe care environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
