Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.
• Must have a current TN license: RN or LPN.
• BLS certification.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to use and document in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Team-oriented, detailed, and multitasker.
• Usual clinic hours Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and Sat 8am-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behaviors.
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Submit prior authorizations for psychiatric medications.
• Collaborate with providers to deliver high-quality care.
• Record vital signs, screenings, care plans, and assist with procedures and medication administration.
• Document and maintain accurate patient medical records.
• Triaged patient calls and urgent concerns; respond promptly to messages.
• Triaging via phone or in person and communicate patient needs to providers.
• Initiate emergency and crisis protocols when needed.

What Is This Job All About?

• Administering nursing care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

What We Need from You:

• Newly graduated nurses welcomed!
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program
• Must have a current licensed practical nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in TN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to use and document in our Electronic Medical Record.
• Work with the nursing team to achieve quality improvement by proactively looking for ways to improve patient flow, quality of care, safety, and health.
• Team-oriented, detailed, and multi-tasker
• Usual clinic operating hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-2pm.
