Job summary

Lincoln Park Nursing and Rehab in Racine, WI seeks an RN/LPN Weekend Supervisor to lead weekend nursing coverage and support patient recovery. You will educate patients and families, uphold safety guidelines, and coordinate care with the DON and nursing team.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and a commitment to high-quality geriatric care in a respectful, professional, and compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum 1–2 years of management experience.

• Valid RN/LPN nursing license in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to -promote patient’s being-by providing high quality nursing care.

• Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents/patients. Supports and practices the philosophy, nursing objectives and standards of the Department of Nursing.
• Ensures that the nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to patients/residents.
• Ensures the provision of in-service/staff development programs that contribute to meeting nursing objectives and standards and comply with all state and federal regulations.
• Provides clinical expertise to facilitate and support the nursing process in patient/ resident interventions.
• Assists in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients/residents, employees and visitors.
• Exercises administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the Director of Nursing and Assistant DON.
