Blaire House of Worcester is seeking an RN or LPN to join our dementia-focused skilled nursing team in Worcester, MA. The role is available as full-time or per diem, offering hourly rates with differential and a supportive, senior-care environment.

Responsibilities include nursing assessment, care planning, physician rounds, medication administration and compliance with regulatory requirements. We provide ongoing in-service training and a friendly team committed to quality elder care.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• In-services training in special areas will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the nursing process by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
• Accept and transcribe doctor's orders and rounds with physicians.
• Order medications per facility procedures and perform narcotic counts.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

Educación

Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing

Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners

Job Summary:

• Participation in the nursing process by sharing in assessment of patients, planning of patient care, implementing the patient care plan, and evaluating patient care.
• Accepting doctor's orders, transcribing doctor's orders and making rounds with physicians.
• Ordering medications according to facility procedure, doing narcotic count according to regulation, auditing physician orders and medications as assigned.
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered.

Qualifications:

• EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Will receive in-service training in special areas.
