Job summary

King-Bruwaert House in Burr Ridge, IL is seeking a full-time Nurse for the Day Shift. We are a historic senior living community offering a family-like atmosphere, strong resident-to-nurse ratios, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN currently registered in Illinois.
• Experience using Point Click Care (PCC).
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with residents, families, and staff.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to residents, including those with dementia or behavioral challenges.
• Capable of independent decision-making and maintaining a neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Day Shift in a senior living setting.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to maintain high care standards.
• Follow patient care plans and document care appropriately.
• Engage with residents and families to address needs and concerns.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed RN/LPN in the State of Illinois
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC)
• Must be able to speak and communicate in English
• Must be able to demonstrate sensitivity to the request of residents, family members, and staff
• Must have patience when working with residents with dementia, emotional, and hostile behaviors
• Must be able to work independently and make independent decisions when necessary
• Must maintain a neat and appropriate appearance
