Responsibilities

• Performs duties under the direction of the OTP Program Director and/or Program Physician.
• Assists with admission and discharge following guidelines for OTPs.
• Supervise the administering of medication to OTP patients.
• Monitors for adverse effects and reports concerns to the Program Director/Physician.
• Maintains accurate medication orders and takes home methadone doses as needed.
• Documents care and patient responses in medical records per procedures.
• Provides patient and family education on medications and health needs.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities and staff meetings.
