Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Prince Frederick, MD is hiring RNs and LPNs for day and evening shifts to join a compassionate, patient-centered team. You will provide quality medical care in a structured residential setting and support clients on their recovery journey.

This role offers meaningful patient care, collaboration with medical and clinical staff, meticulous charting, and education for patients and families as they move through admission, treatment and discharge.

Qualifications

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Nurses (RN/LPN) to join our team in Prince Frederick, MD. Whether you're experienced in behavioral health, detox, med-surg, corrections, LTC, or simply looking for more meaningful patient care, we welcome your application.

At Avenues, nurses play a vital role in helping individuals begin recovery in a safe, supportive, and highly structured medical environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings

What We’re Looking For

• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
