Qualifications

Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in Texas.
An ADN is required.
2 years Long-Term Care experience preferred.
6 months rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
Strong knowledge of Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in line with act, regulations, policies, and prudent judgment.
Plan and direct a resident's care plan per physician orders and guidelines.
Follow the facility's policies and privacy rules for day-to-day nursing functions.
Provide emergency support, including CPR, as needed.
Develop daily work and unit assignments and supervise nursing staff as required.
Ensure staff compliance with nursing standards and secure login/logout of computers.
Oversee nurse aides and coordinate with staff to maintain policies and systems.
