Job summary

Lock Haven Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team. The RN will develop and implement individualized care plans, supervise nursing staff, and participate in daily unit operations to meet residents’ needs.

Under supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will conduct resident assessments, coordinate care, and assist physicians during rounds, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN utilizes a general understanding of nursing and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for residents.
• RN assists in orientation and supervision of nursing personnel, participates in daily unit operations, and assumes leadership responsibilities as needed.
• Performs active resident assessments and care, coordinates nursing staff to provide direct resident care in line with State and Federal regulations.
• Forms individualized care plans using the nursing process and reassesses residents daily to adjust actions as needed.
• Assists physicians during rounds, communicates pertinent information, and ensures orders are accurately executed.
• Participates in training and supervision of nursing personnel, applying leadership and supervision principles.
• Manages conflicts with effective problem-solving and communication; acts calmly in emergencies.
• Prepares daily assignment of duties, treatments, and miscellaneous tasks.
