SnapCare in Richmond Heights, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shift assignments at a critical illness and rehabilitation hospital. You will perform timely nursing assessments, create individualized care plans, and supervise licensed staff.

You will document care, participate in team conferences, and assist with discharge planning and patient education. Candidate should have at least two years of bedside clinical experience; BLS is required before first shift and ACLS may be required.

Qualificações

• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience required.
• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop and maintain individualized patient care plans based on assessment data.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and/or orientees.
• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Participate in Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records.
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission and provide education to patient and family.
• Communicate patient status changes to attending physicians and Charge Nurse.
• Delegate tasks and train ancillary nursing personnel.
