Aria Nursing & Rehab in Lansing, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee resident care, assess plans, and coordinate on-shift activities for both day and night teams. This full-time role includes leading LPNs, CNAs, and aides to ensure high-quality care and safety in a sub-acute, long-term setting.

You will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating care, while ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborative communication with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
