Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Grapevine, TX, invites an experienced RN to join the Labor & Delivery team on a PRN Days schedule. The unit handles high-acuity obstetric care with a Magnet Recognized facility and Level III NICU resources.

The role emphasizes mentoring, learning, and collaboration within a strong ICU/ED partnership. Required are RN licensure and BLS/NRP/EFM/ACLS certifications, plus 1–2 years in L&D; higher-volume experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited course.
• Field of Study: nursing major.
• Certification: hold a BLS certificate now or within 30 days.
• RN license required.
• Experience: 1 year in high-volume deliveries; 2 years in lower-volume facilities.
• Preferred: 2 years in L&D, laboring, circulating and triaging.

• Prioritize needs and create, implement, and assess care plans.
• Observe indicators and support evidence-based changes.
• Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Build relationships with boundaries while managing pain and promoting healing.
• Facilitate learning for health-care teams and patients.
