Job summary

Registered Nurse II at MUHA provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families, applying the nursing process to deliver safe, effective care and to coordinate with the health care team.

This role includes shift work in a 36-hour week schedule with three 12-hour shifts, potential sign-on bonus for experienced hires, and requires ADN or BSN, SC RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in SC (or compact state).
• BLS required; ACLS and NRP required.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required.
