Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care across all life stages, following established nursing processes. You will act within organizational policies and promote professional growth and accountability, while coordinating care among assigned staff to maintain high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current Georgia RN licensure (NLC/eNLC multistate or single-state) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
