Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. The unit handles OB patients >20 weeks gestation in a fast-paced environment with 1:2 patient ratios in L&D and 1:2-3 in OB Triage, requiring teamwork, strong communication, and a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• 1.5 years (18 months) Labor and Delivery/Antepartum RN experience, preferably in a level II or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for OB patients greater than 20 weeks gestation in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and continuous learning.
