Job summary

The WMCHealthWorx Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in an assigned clinical area across facilities in the Hudson Valley within WMCHealth. They assess patients, take health history, plan and implement care, and ensure compliance with nursing standards and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities include documenting care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and interprofessional teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous professional nursing experience required.
• Associates degree required; BSN preferred.
• Must possess a valid NYS Registered Nurse license and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Supervises care, treatment, and services of the patient(s).
• Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnosis, expected patient outcomes and appropriate nursing interventions.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times with patients, medical staff, and co-workers.
• Performs interventions according to established priorities, plan of care and hospital policy.
