Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical in Macon, GA is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the lifespan, using established nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will work within our policies and procedures and coordinate care with assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure (or NLC/eNCL multistate), and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in Georgia (state license or NLC/eNCL multistate license) required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• New graduates are eligible; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff and maintain standards of practice.

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
