Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients appropriately based on their medical condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age, including basic self-care.
• Formulate and evaluate teaching plans with family involvement.
• Demonstrate ability to use nursing knowledge for treatments and services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide patient care.

• Identify and address psychosocial needs of patients and families; coordinate post-discharge needs.

Job Summary

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the assigned care setting. Communicates and collaborates with physicians, leadership, co-workers, and other multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Provides high quality patient care utilizing critical thinking, nursing processes, decision making, compassion, integrity, respect, and empathy. Preserves the patient’s autonomy, dignity, and rights, and restores health whenever possible. Able to perform general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates cost-effective practices and non-wasteful usage of supplies, linen, and charge items.
• Prioritizes patient care effectively and efficiently.
