Night Shift Incentive Program

Job summary

UCHealth's PVH Postpartum and Antepartum unit in Fort Collins is seeking a dedicated RN to provide direct patient care for antepartum and postpartum patients. You will work nights, applying the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires RN licensure, postpartum experience, and relevant certifications (NRP, EFM, BLS). This full-time onsite position includes a night shift incentive and opportunities for growth within UCHealth.

Qualifications

  • RN license required.
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
  • EFM certification required.
  • BLS certification required and valid.
  • 6 months postpartum and antepartum care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Prioritize patient safety and evidence-based practice.
  • Precepting and mentoring new staff on the unit.

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Poudre Valley Hospital, US:CO:Fort Collins


Department: PVH: Postpartum and Antepartum


This is an exciting new Family Care Center clinical unit which provides care in the Antepartum and Postpartum phases of delivery.


Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)


Shift: Nights


Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience


This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option


Work nights, earn more - our Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/year) to full-time night shift RNs.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.

  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • 6 months of Post Partum and Antepartum care experience

  • NRP within 6 months from hire

  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (EFM)

  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
