Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston invites experienced registered nurses to join the Labor & Delivery team on a 24-hour rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. MGH Labor & Delivery is a 12-bed, high-acuity LDR unit where expert nurses collaborate with obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, and OB anesthesia to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to a diverse population. Our supportive, team-driven culture promotes clinical excellence and compassionate care for every patient and family. The unit includes two dedicated operating rooms and a five-bay OB triage area.
Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.
