Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 0.9 FTE night-shift position in Madison, WI. The role includes 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with compensation starting at $43.89 per hour and a 36-hour work week. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin; CP R certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire.
• Must be available the first 2 weeks of employment on the day shift to attend orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care according to hospital policies and care standards.
• Supervise delegated nursing acts and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care within a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through the supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Education:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis

Certification/License:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
• CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire
