HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Florida is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians, the care team, and families to ensure optimal outcomes, while applying established nursing models and standards of practice.

The role requires quick clinical judgment, advocacy for patients, and dedication to safety standards.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• NRP within 90 days of start date.
• STABLE within 6 months of start date.
• 1+ year RN experience required.
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Advanced/Intermediate fetal monitoring within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the labor and delivery unit.
• Collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• STABLE must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1+ years of Registered Nurse experience required
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
