The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting at our medical center.
Under general supervision, you will collaborate with the health care team, follow the nursing process, and meet licensure and training requirements including ADN and BSN options, BLS, ACLS, and NRP, while ensuring safe, compassionate care for patients and families.
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Minimum Training and Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required.
