Job summary

Cynet Health is hiring an RN—Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Hazard, KY. The role covers L&D, postpartum and nursery care. Night shifts are 3x12 and 4x12 hours, with 12-hour shifts, requiring 2+ years in L&D at a level 1 facility.

Must hold KY or compact license, BLS/ACLS/NRP and Fetal Monitoring experience; flu vaccine mandatory. Travel eligibility requires being 75+ miles from the facility and occasional holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience in a level 1 acute setting.
• Must possess a valid state nursing license (KY or compact).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and Nursery.
• Circulate for C-sections and recover post‑cesarean patients.
• Perform newborn assessment, infant identification, and breastfeeding support.
• Adhere to safety protocols and credential verification.
