Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Registered Clinical Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with the health care team to coordinate care and mentor other team members in a fast-paced environment.

Licensed in Florida with current BLS/CPR certification, you will contribute to a safe, compassionate patient environment while delivering evidence-based care and maintaining patient rights and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an RN in Florida.
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; 2–5 years preferred for RN roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate and deliver care.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for other health care team members.

• The Registered Clinical Nurse (RN) is fundamental in achieving recognized world-class health care
• Assumes direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment
• The primary responsibility is providing care through collaboration with health care team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process
• Also provides leadership, mentoring and role modeling for other members of the health care team
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure and clean environment
• Care provided displays respect for the patient's rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs
• Adaptable, using evidenced based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain and alleviating anxiety.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

• Associates in Nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Required Experience:

• No previous experience required
• Preferred: 2-5 years' experience as RN

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Current license to practice as an RN in Florida
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or other specialized life support requirements designated by work area
