Job summary

ARMStaffing is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for travel and local assignments in York, PA. As an L&D RN, you’ll care for patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, supporting families during life-changing moments with skill and empathy.

You’ll need an active RN license (compact preferred), BLS/ACLS, and 1–2 years of L&D experience, plus knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and fetal monitoring certification preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent L&D nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth.
• Administer medications and IVs, including epidurals and Pitocin.
• Educate and support patients and families on birth plans and newborn care.
• Manage emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
