Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the PRN night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). The ideal candidate will commit to nine shifts in each six‑week scheduling period and provide nursing care across the life span using nursing processes.

You will work within organizational policies and collaborate to maintain high standards of practice. Qualifications include current Georgia RN licensure (or NLC/eNCL Multistate License), BCLS certification, and a nursing degree (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license (or NLC/eNCL Multistate License) required.
• BCLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible; no experience required.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred for PRN roles.

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
