Job summary

UMC Health System in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology for a full-time Monday–Friday shift from 0730 to 1600 with on-call duties. The RN will rotate through prep, recovery and procedures, and provide moderate sedation for minimally invasive procedures.

The role requires acute care experience, Texas RN license/Compact status, BLS and ACLS, and a BSN or enrollment within three years of hire; CRN or related certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Valid Texas RN License or Eligible Compact License.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• BSN required or must be obtained within three years of hire.
• Minimum two years of acute care experience; critical care or emergency center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through prep, recovery and procedures; provide moderate sedation for minimally invasive procedures.
• Assess, implement or delegate, plan and evaluate total nursing care for a group of patients.
• Coordinate with other shifts/departments for continuity of care.
