Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses in Morristown, NJ, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide critical care in the Interventional Radiology setting for a 13-week assignment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing invasive procedures and fluoroscopy-based imaging.

The role requires invasive procedure support, adherence to aseptic technique per AORN guidelines, and collaboration with the care team to ensure evidence-based practice in a high-acuity

Qualifications

• Experience in critical care nursing, specifically related to interventional procedures, is required.
• Must possess a valid RN license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive procedures in Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Neurosurgical intervention while adhering to aseptic techniques as per AORN guidelines.
• Collaborate with health care team members through Shared Governance to promote evidence-based care.
• Develop and maintain required competencies for managing the Interventional Radiology patient population.
• Provide responsible, professional critical care nursing care within an integrated healthcare system.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill medical and surgical patients undergoing invasive procedures, including those using fluoroscopy and general X-ray modalities.
