Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a dedicated staff nurse to join our team in Georgia. You will provide compassionate nursing care across the lifespan, guided by evidence-based practice and our commitment to patient safety.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, hold Georgia RN licensure (or NLC), and have BCLS certification; hospital experience and additional certifications are preferred to support clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
