Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care in a dynamic hospital setting. The role emphasizes safety, education, coordination, and effective use of health information systems to support patient outcomes.

The RN will leverage the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and advocating for patients and families at all times.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• A Bachelors of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• One (1) or more years’ experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) health care provider card required.
• ACLS Certification required for all the following areas. New Graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and maintain a safe environment.
• Educate patients and families about healthy practices and treatments.
• Coordinate care across settings and among caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Advocate, contribute to performance improvement, and work as a team member.
