Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Acute Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Unit in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time night-shift position involves comprehensive nursing care, patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team to maximize functional independence for patients with spinal cord injuries.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan is required.
• Associate's degree in nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Certification as a CRRN is preferred and encouraged for all MFB RNs.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of your license and as required by law and regulation.
• Coordinate, delegate, and provide care to multiple patients within the Nursing Department.
• Perform patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and clinical coordination for high-acuity neurological patients.
• Collaborate with LPNs, therapists, and physicians to manage complex medical conditions and support safe discharge planning.
