Job summary

Spalding Rehabilitation, part of Presbyterian St. Luke's Rehab, seeks a rehabilitation staff nurse to help patients adapt to an alternative lifestyle while delivering a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.

You will work in inpatient and outpatient settings, coordinating care across teams. The RN will design and implement treatment plans based on nursing theory related to self-care and will promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• RN licensure in Colorado or multi-state required.
• 6 months minimum RN experience in rehab/medical-surgical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in adapting to an alternate lifestyle while creating a therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Design and implement treatment strategies based on nursing theory related to self-care to promote health.
• Provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings with coordination across care teams.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The rehabilitation staff nurse assists clients in adapting to an alternative lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients’ and their families’ development. The rehabilitation staff nurse designs and implements treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. The rehabilitation staff nurse works in inpatient and outpatient settings and in acute and subacute settings

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• (RN) Registered Nurse Colorado DORA or Multi State
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• RN experience of 6 months minimum required
• Rehabilitation, Ortho, Neuro, or TCU experience preferred. 1-3 years medical-surgical experience preferred.
