Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a registered nurse for Hematology/Oncology/Cellular Therapy. The unit provides inpatient and hospital-based outpatient care for cancer patients, including CAR-T therapy, transfusions, and central line care.

Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights and weekends is required. The RN will coordinate patient care, educate families, mentor others, and contribute to quality improvement within Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA; RN experience required.
• Excellent communication skills; team collaboration and critical thinking.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Demonstrate leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement.
• May involve CAR-T therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, central line care.
• Adapt to varying patient acuity and participate in continuous improvement.
