Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Heart Failure Nurse to join the Heart Failure Integrated Practice Unit (IPU). The nurse delivers expert care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centered care across the continuum.

• Provide expert nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient-centered care across the continuum.
• Coordinate patient care activities within the Heart Failure IPU.

The Heart Failure Integrated Practice Unit (IPU) serves as the foundation of a nationally recognized heart failure program, grounded in clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care. Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law

Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

Additional Qualifications

Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor\'s degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
