Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a flexible Float Pool RN for night shifts in the United States. The RN will work a 12-hour shift with 36 scheduled hours per week, joining a team focused on delivering patient-centered care across a rural health system.

A nurse residency and robust onboarding support ongoing professional development are provided. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current RN license, and preferably a Bachelor’s in Nursing.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
  • Work independently and with a team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate adaptability, clear communication, attention to detail and strong time management.

Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.

Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
