Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients, assess needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient conditions to support recovery.

You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to create comprehensive plans and prepare patients and families for discharge, whether home or to another setting for continued care.

Qualifications

• Current WA State RN license is required.
• One year or more of recent RN experience with acute care patients.
• BLS from AHA required upon hire.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, skilled nursing services to patients requiring hospitalization, guiding them toward optimal health and functional recovery.

Every day you will assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and continuously monitor patient conditions. You will collaborate seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans, always preparing patients and their families for a successful discharge, whether to home or to another setting for continued care.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for every individual.

Job Requirements

• Current WA State RN license


• One (1) or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients


• BLS from AHA upon hire


• Other certifications may be required for specialty areas


• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing

Preferred

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Pay Range

$47.12 - $88.77 /hour
