DeKalb Health in North Little Rock, AR, is seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide on-site infusion services, assess patient needs, and educate patients and families about treatments and side effects.
The role requires AR RN licensure, BLS, chemo certification within six months, and 2–5 years of direct patient care, with strong communication and computer skills. Travel minimal; on-site RN position with comprehensive benefits.
JOB SUMMARY: Practices within the professional boundaries established by the Board of Nursing in assessing patients’ needs, by administering physician prescribed treatments, teaching patients and family members about their disease state and the corresponding treatments and side effects, counseling of patients and family members when appropriate and assisting the physician in the overall care of the patients.
